Commissioned illustration for REI: Force of Nature Campaign. "Force of Nature" was a public-facing effort that built on nearly eight decades of REI work to create more access to the outdoors for women. I tried to put into visual form the joy I feel when I am running and get a surge of energy.
I was commissioned to complete 27 original illustrations alongside medical illustrator Mary Anderson's diagrams for Dr. Ben McFarland's wonderful book "A World from Dust: How the Periodic Table Shaped Life," published by Oxford University Press in 2016.
